About

Cecilia Leigh is a writer, naturalist, and yoga teacher living in Wyoming.  Fascinated with the human spirit and all that surrounds us, Cecilia studied Sociology as an undergraduate and later pursued dual Masters Degrees in Natural Science and Environment and Natural Resources. She has also taken a graduate MFA, nature, non-fiction writing course with Terry Tempest Williams and is a contributing poet in the upcoming book, The Poetry of Yoga.  She shares her enthusiasm for connecting others to themselves and the earth by leading nature and yoga retreats across the United States and has worked for the National Park Service and National Audubon Society.

Cecilia brings the interplay of the human spirit, self-reflection, a down-to-earth vibe, and elements of the natural world into her writing.  “I believe we are all linked, starting with ourselves; the cells of our beings, our emotions, our bodies, our spirits.   As we discover, nurture, and honor those connections we realize our communion with our fellow man, the earth, and a greater force that unites us all.”

She’s also a pretty bad-ass napper.  Yes.  She loves a good nap.
